About the Role

MacLean-Fogg, a values-driven company, places Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) at the heart of our operations. We are looking for a passionate EHS Manager to join our dedicated EHS team. In this critical role, you will help drive our Mission Zero initiative by supporting the design and implementation of world-class EHS systems. As an EHS Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance, reducing injuries, and enhancing environmental performance across our facilities. What You'll Do Support the Environmental, Health and Safety Management Team in implementing and overseeing EHS processes. Develop and maintain systems to promote continuous injury reduction and enhance environmental performance. Coach and mentor line leaders and plant safety teams on their EHS responsibilities. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA/EPA requirements and ISO-14001/ISO-45001 certifications. Conduct hazard and risk assessments and develop strategies for risk mitigation. Review and update internal EHS policies, practices, and procedures. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and track action item closures to prevent recurrence. Deliver and manage EHS-related training programs. Maintain accurate and organized EHS documentation, including permanent files. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current in EHS regulations and best practices. Report directly to the Site General Manager and provide key support to the EHS Steering Team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety roles within a lean manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards, particularly those from OSHA and EPA. Demonstrated success in driving safety and environmental compliance initiatives. Experience with EHS management systems and certifications (ISO-14001/ISO-45001). Proven ability to lead change with a relentless focus on execution and safety excellence. Competencies/Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively interpret and apply policies and regulatory guidelines. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to build collaborative relationships and foster teamwork across all levels of the organization. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions.
