Job Description

The Position

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for System Support: Accountable for systems governance such as license provisioning process and access management.

  • Partner with country 's designated point of contacts (DPOCs) to formulate recommendations around training/communication/enhancement needs; and System & Process Execution: Partner with the internal Business Owner and Learning & Development (where needed) to assist in the development of training materials and execution resources.

  • Conduct process and system training where needed.

  • Successfully partner within Global Medical Affairs Capabilities (GMAC), across business functions and geographies to make effective decisions, solving complex problems with efficient solutions and escalating risks and issues as appropriate.

  • Support Help Desk escalations around system functionality and user roles.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders within GMAC and other internal business partners to design, develop and utilize metrics for quality and efficiency assessment and continuous improvement recommendations.

  • Administrate cross-divisional governance meetings (as needed) to support meetings objectives, alignment across system users for configuration changes and release management.

  • Facilitate program training and maintenance of program-related reference guides and/or training documents on both the process and the applicable system. Adhere to the compliance and regulatory procedures, working closely with Global Compliance and Legal. Respond and comply with any program investigations, audits, or assessments working closely with DPOC Director on the control plan and any audits of the process.

  • Understand global DPOC business process and objectives to enable configuration decisions.

  • Engage cross-functionally across the organization to develop test and implementation plans, drive results and resolve issues, using an ability to assess and course correct when necessary.

  • Ability to multi-task and serve as the Process & System Coordinator for multiple processes and systems leveraged by GMAC. Implement processes utilizing improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and/or Lean.

  • Ensure efforts and priorities align to overall GMAC Strategic Initiatives while focusing on efficient, effective process execution.

  • Monitor and evaluate process changes to ensure benefits/objectives are being met and are measurable.

  • Interface with Organon IT and/or external vendors to facilitate system configuration based on documented Business and Functional Requirement Specifications. Partner with IT and external vendors to collect metrics around helpdesk questions and training needs.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree (or its U.S. equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Chemical Engineering plus minimum three years of relevant experience in life sciences and process and systems related coordination.

  • Experience working with Veeva medical information system supporting DPOC for intake, classification, and triage of Medical Information, Adverse Events, Product Quality Complaints, Counterfeit Diversion and Tampering, Customer Feedback and Pre-License Patient Access requests in pharmaceutical industry; experience in partnering with business stakeholders across geographies and functions to inform global process design and execution required.

  • Must possess skills in Change Management, Six Sigma, Project Management and ability to work at affiliate, regional and/or global level.

  • Expertise to execute global process and systems workshops, meetings and other methodologies to inform effective and efficient, new and updated processes and systems also needed.

  • Attention to detail, excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, escalating risks and issues as appropriate required.

  • Must have demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to learn on the fly while understanding and solving new problems, requiring a high level of independent judgement and initiative.

  • Possess ability to identify the most efficient and effective way to implement new services.

  • Telecommuting Permitted. 40 hours per week. Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States.

The applicable salary range for this position in the U.S. is stated below. Benefits offered in the U.S. include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation and holiday time, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.

Annualized Salary Range (US)

$136,600.00 - $232,300.00
