Atlas CADD Designer (ENG Design Technician 1) in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CADD Designer to join our team. The CADD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for a variety of projects using computer-aided design and drafting software.
Minimum Requirements
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Faciliarity with Surveying (Total Station and GPS)
Familiarity with GIS
Experience with water and sewer line design
Ability to effectively interact and communicate with Supervisors
Ability to effectively work remotely with multiple offices
Technical ability to perform work assignments
Must possess the desire to grow in technical knowledge, to improve one's ability along with ever improving software and hardware systems.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Create detailed drawings for various projects based on specifications provided
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure drawings meet project requirements
Revise drawings as necessary based on feedback and changes in project scope
Maintain accurate records of drawings and project files
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in CADD design
Technical Requirements:
Perform drafting tasks using 2D and 3D AutoCAD
Provide field support for Survey operations
Transfer survey data from field equipment to AutoCAD for plotting
Perform basic design tasks for grading, erosion and sediment control, and underground water/wastewater piping
Integration of AutoCAD into GIS system
Other Miscellaneous Qualities:
- Strong Team skills related to design projects.
