Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator in our non-profit organization located in PLEASANTVILLE, New York, 10570-2346, United States. The Systems Administrator will play a critical role in managing and fine-tuning our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of various technologies including Cisco, Citrix, Cloud, and Dell Technologies, as well as a solid grasp of database management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight for the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of system servers across the organization.

• Implement and manage all internal and external servers and network infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance.

• Administer and maintain MS Windows Server 2012 and Microsoft Windows Server to ensure system reliability.

• Handle migration of servers and implement necessary backup technologies to ensure data security and integrity.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and suggest appropriate system upgrades.

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT.

• Oversee Active Directory setup and manage user access.

• Ensure network security protocols are adhered to prevent potential threats.

• Collaborate with the IT team on large-scale projects.

• Provide technical guidance related to cloud technologies and Citrix technologies to other team members. Requirements • Must have a comprehensive understanding of Citrix Technologies

• Proficient in Cloud Technologies

• Familiarity with Active Directory is necessary

• Should possess knowledge of Backup Technologies

• Capable of handling Computer Hardware

• Familiarity with MS Windows Server 2012 is required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server is mandatory

• Experience in Server Migration is necessary

• Must have a strong understanding of Network Security

• Non-profit industry experience is preferred

• Should have excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Must have the ability to work in a team and independently

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required

• Relevant certifications would be considered an advantage
