Title:Licensed Mental Health Professional - Sexual Assault Program (Part Time)Purpose:To provide therapeutic interventions to survivors of sexual assaultDuties:1.Provide individual and group therapy to sexual assault survivors/clients2.Provide clinical assessments; development and implementation of case plans with clients initiating services3.Provide both file and statistical documentation in compliance with AVANZAR’s policies and procedures4.Responsible for other duties as assigned by supervisorAccountability: The position of Licensed Mental Health Professional will be accountable to the Sexual Assault Program Team Leader/Program Director and the client population and for the timely, professional and effective performance of all job duties.Qualifications:1.Trained in Sexual Violence2.Minimum of two years of experience in direct client service delivery, and in working with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds3.Experience with providing clinical assessments and developing case plans4.Demonstrated sensitivity to issues of social justice5.Demonstrated ability to work in diverse teams6.Ability to expand communication style to multiple cultural environments7.Ability to speak a second language valued8.Ability to network with other professionals within and outside the Agency, and with the business community on behalf of the client population9.Willingness to utilize, share and/or develop technology skills10.Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field11.Active Status in one of the following: LCSW, LSW, LPC, LMFT, or LCDAC12.Valid New Jersey driver’s license and insurability through AVANZAR’s insurance carrier.
