Product Costing Manager 1369823 (H) A leading consumer products company is seeking a Product Costing Manager. The successful candidate will assist the Product Costing Manager while the manager spends time learning about S4 due to the company's transition to S4HANA. Product Costing Manager Pay and Benefits: * Hourly pay: $60/hr * Worksite: Leading consumer products company (Pleasanton, CA 94588 - Hybrid, Candidates located in the Bay Area are preferred, Open to remote candidates in the United States) * W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL * 40 hours/week, 6-7 Month Assignment Product Costing Manager Responsibilities: * Assist the Product Costing Manager while in training with the following: * Standard cost creation process for all domestic materials. * The annual standards-setting process and training. * Continuous coordination and partnership with product supply organization to support accurate standards and reduction of supply chain errors; continuous improvement. * Internal controls for product costing: Support a team of capable analysts by coaching, advising, training, and reviewing/approving their work. * Actively lead, participate, and bring closure to continuous improvement projects. * Be E&Y's point of contact for costing controls when Product Costing Manager is not available * Support product costing business continuity. * Oversight for monthly production order WIP/Error clearing. * Provide financial review for profit center. * Support the development of supply chain finance forecast calendars. Product Costing Manager Qualifications: * 4 - 5 years of finance, accounting, or related experience. * Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. * SAP product costing process management experience. Exceptional SAP skills. * Consumer packaged goods or manufacturing industry experience. * Ability to work effectively in teams (both within finance and crossfunctionally). * Strong knowledge of US GAAP (strong accounting skills). * Proficient in Microsoft Excel. * Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills * Ability to identify and implement ways to streamline and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of close and forecast processes. * Strong planning & organizing skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage workload to meet deadlines. * Strong analytical and collaboration skills. Product Costing Manager Shift: * Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
