Your role at Clorox:
This role leads the corporate financial planning and actuals reporting processes for the enterprise, providing financial insights to understand business performance and help deliver the annual financial goals for the company. This role is responsible for corporate consolidations, supporting a wide range of senior leaders and key processes, including Investor Relations, SEC, FRC, Groups, and SBUs. The total number of FTEs in this organization is 3, with three direct reports.
To be successful he/she must have strong leadership and influencing skills, people management, analytical and communication skills and be an agent of change.

In this role, you will:
Lead financial planning processes for the enterprise:
Provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
Lead the development of the financial planning processes for the enterprise including the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year plan (MYP).
Provide timely insights to support decision-making for a variety of stakeholders including Corporate FP&A, Enterprise Operations Team (EOT), Group VPs, Functional leaders, and Investor Relations.
Assess risks within business plans and help develop contingency plans and scenarios to achieve targets.
Lead Reimagine work efforts to drive faster, effective, and leaner processes thru successful execution of technology transformation efforts.
Provide guidance, direction, and best practices to SBUs and Groups.
Lead Actuals reporting processes:
Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior management.
Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership.
Develop timely and accurate reports to support SEC, Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, and FRC work streams.
Lead financial updates for external guidance.
Drive process improvements to streamline effort and improve quality of output.
People & Organizational Leadership
Manage a team of 3 FTEs with 3 direct reports.
Develop a highly engaged and top performing team.
Prepare team for positions of increasing responsibility.
Accurately assess organizational talent performance and potential.
Create and support a culture of inclusion and diversity by modeling desired behaviors.
Internal Controls
Serve as the forecast process owner, ensures quarterly testing is completed, all exceptions are properly recorded, and remediation plans are timely implemented.
Ensure owned Internal Control and Accounting policies are up to date
What we look for:
10-12+ years of professional work experience in Finance and Accounting
Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statements
CPG industry experience preferred
Excellent written & verbal, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence teams
Ability to take personal ownership and ensure timely resolution of issues
Strong planning and organizing skills
Ability to develop and implement new processes. Identify improvement areas to current processes implement the appropriate process modifications
Ability to work on cross-functional activities and form solid business relationships
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high performing teams
Ambitious leader with a proven track record of career progression and a desire for future growth.
Strong change agent mindset with a willingness to challenge the status quo.

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $148,500 - $298,600
–Zone B: $136,200 - $273,700
–Zone C: $123,800 - $248,800

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
