Job Description

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Requires strong understanding of AI technologies including LLM, RAG etc and possess technical expertise to integrate LLM and AI agent services in the product. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products. Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

Design and Development: Design and develop new functionality using various technologies, including VBCS, ADF, Java, SQL, Oracle, WebLogic, Apache, and various JavaScript frameworks, including JET. Conceptualize, design and develop AI solutions. Integrate LLM and AI Agent services. Collaborate with UI Engineers and UX Designer to to deliver API design with technical feasibility. Deliver features as per business priorities in a distributed environment

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between the development team, product management, support team, and customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment on product updates, issue resolution, and customer feedback.

Product Expertise: Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our ORC product and associated SKUs, staying current with new features, enhancements, and industry trends to better serve our customers. Also, maintain a high-level understanding of Taleo products.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices for onboarding and customer support, enhancing overall customer satisfaction and product adoption.

Any Experience with Oracle ADF is highly welcome

Any front end exposure in Javascript, nodeJS, HTML, CSS is highly welcome

Technical Stack

Backend Stack: Java, ADF, Oracle Database (SQL-PL/SQL), Oracle Weblogic, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, SaaS/PaaS,

Frontend technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, Oracle JET

Subject-matter expert in Java7/8/9, Spring Framework, REST

Preferred Skills:

Strong knowledge in latest AI technologies

Practical experience integrating LLM and AI Agent services.

Experience with developing web applications or web sites optimized for mobile platforms using responsive UI design concepts

Experience with end-end Agile SDLC: design, code, unit-test, peer-review, integrate, build and ship software within sprint-wise commit and delivery models

Exposure to debugging complex systems

Exposure to Security and Performance aspects would be a plus

Experience with architectural patterns such as MVVC, REST, Web APIs

Passion for design and great attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills (English); ability to communicate design concepts to various types of audiences

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $84,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
