We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing accounts payable processes within the construction industry. This role is crucial for ensuring that our vendor invoices are processed accurately and efficiently, contributing to the smooth operation of our financial functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify vendor invoices and expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.

• Prepare and execute payments, including checks and electronic transfers.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Collaborate with project managers and other departments to address any issues related to accounts payable.

• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analysis as needed.

• Ensure timely filing of all required documentation and maintain organized files.

  Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role, preferably in the construction industry.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
