Kelly Services QC Lab Technician – Plaquemine, Louisiana in Plaquemine, Louisiana

Kelly Science and Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a QC Lab Technician position at a specialty chemical company in Plaquemine, LA. The overall responsibility of the position is to perform various analyses of raw materials, process samples, and final product to ensure product quality requirements are achieved.

Job Requirements:

  • BS degree in Chemistry or related science preferred

  • 2-7 years of industry laboratory experience preferred

  • Basic technical competence in standard laboratory techniques

  • Experience with GC, ICP, Karl Fisher, IR, viscometer, and UV-Vis is preferred

  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, SAP, and LIMS

  • Able to work in fast-paced and growing environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Motivated, self-starter who desires success

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision

This is a temp to hire position and candidates must be willing to work rotating 8 hour shifts to support this 24/7 manufacturing operation. The schedule is 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am and the rotation is every 2 weeks. The pay rate for the position is $28.52 per hour.
