Heavy Equipment Operator

PeopleReady of Plant City, FL is now hiring Heavy Equipment Operators!We are looking for heavy equipment operators to assit in a large project with lots of OT potential. Project is needing 2 candidates will be operating 644 styler front loaders, the other will be operating a 225 or similar excavator. Please give us a call if you have any questions.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $25 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Heavy Equipment Operator:

• Performing preoperational checks of equipment

• Working outdoors in appropriate safety and protective equipment

• Operating a variety of heavy equipment safely via hand signals, radio communication and using occupant safety devices

• Acquiring and using a knowledge of earthmoving fundamentals

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Shifts will be 12hrs 67 days a week for the duration of the project. 

Job requirements:

• Florida Phosphate Producers cards, and MSHA certificates

• Able to occasionally lift and move more than 50 pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time

• Discernment for safety
