Aerotek Assembler in Plant City, Florida

Assembler

Responsibilities

  • Assemble axles and brake components according to high-quality standards.

  • Read blueprints and verify required parts prior to assembly.

  • Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects promptly.

  • Familiarize with tools, instrumentation, and calibration equipment.

  • Communicate with other assembly line stations to ensure speed and accuracy.

  • Maintain and service all equipment as needed.

  • Conserve resources and supplies to minimize waste.

  • Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications.

Essential Skills

  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and assembly processes.

  • Ability to read blueprints.

  • Good work ethic and adaptability to a fast-paced work environment.

  • Experience in a mechanical or assembly line setting.

Shift and Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled facility.

The schedule is Monday to Thursday with the possibility of half-days on Friday.

The first shift runs from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with the potential to work until 4:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr.
