We are seeking a passionate Senior Software Engineer to drive innovative solutions in the realm of customer service virtual assistants. You’ll tackle diverse tasks, from architectural design to frontend and backend development, in a fast-paced and collaborative setting. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in shaping our product and enhancing the customer experience, ensuring seamless and efficient interactions with our virtual assistant. As a valued team member, you will be part of a dynamic yet highly autonomous work environment, where each member has clear expectations and the freedom to explore exciting projects. Your contributions will help advance AI-driven customer support solutions, keeping you abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the field. Collaborating with Machine Learning Engineers, you will facilitate smooth integration and spearhead innovation in our virtual assistant offerings, ultimately transforming customer service experiences and boosting user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance full stack applications using modern technologies and best practices, including artificial intelligence and machine learning.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create technical specifications, and implement robust solutions.

  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, sharing knowledge, expertise, and industry best practices.

  • Lead architecture and design discussions, ensuring that solutions are aligned with the company's technology roadmap and strategic objectives.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring optimal system performance and stability.

  • Continuously evaluate and incorporate new technologies and tools to improve software quality, development processes, and team productivity

  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Collaborate with product team to ensure customer and business needs are prioritized.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet or exceed expectations.

  • Contribute to the definition and evolution of software development standards, processes, and best practices within the organization.

  • Prepare to participate in hands-on development of critical components of the software architecture.

Must have Required Experience:

  • Experience :

  • 5 years in full stack software development (front-end, back-end)

  • Technical Skills Required :

  • Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (JavaScript, Java, Next JS, Node.js, React js)

  • Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OpenStack, Terraform, Ansible, Chef)

  • Strong experience with databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, or similar)

  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and related technologies

  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, Nexus, Sonar)

  • Strong experience in unit and function testing (Junit, Spock, Mockito/JMock, Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI, Postman)

  • Additional Skills :

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills

  • Experience with AI/ML development

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring and providing technical leadership to other engineers

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working with GenAI and LLMs

  • Familiarity with Google CCAI platform, Vertex AI

  • Knowledge of Vector DB, RAG

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (preferred)

Our Senior Software Engineer, earns between $130,700.00-$196,100.00 USD Annual , Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
