JPMorgan Chase Senior Lead Software Engineer in Plano, Texas

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Designs, develops, and implements web-based and batch-based Java applications to support business executions. Participating discussions with initiative leaders, business consumers, product teams, technical leads, architects, subject matter experts to come up with business requirements. Leading a tower of applications in Commercial Banking Shared services team with responsibility of solutions, estimating, planning, implementing, deploying and testing business requirements. Documenting the requirements as user stories in JIRA tool to follow the Agile process guidelines. Code reviews - detailed inspection of all code delivered. On-time delivery of high-quality code. Produce high quality code utilizing Test Driven Development techniques. Proven expertise with performance optimization and tuning of web applications and database processes. Ensure adherence to architecture standards, risk management, application security/control policies with quarterly/monthly/bi-weekly verifications. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Application Development Java, Associate Architect, Project Lead, Technical Lead, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Cloud Services such as AWS or Azure; Docker; Hibernate; Java; JSON; Maven; Oracle; Bootstrap; Junit; Microservices; Performance Testing; REST; Splunk; Apache Kafka; GIT; Jenkins; SOAP and REST web service; Spring Framework; Apache Tomcat; Cucumber; J2EE; JQuery; Software Development; SQL; XML; Log4J; JMeter; Mockito; GitHub; Jenkins; H2 database; and OAuth.

Job Location: 8181 Communications Parkway, Plano, TX 75024. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
