As a Risk Management - Servicing Analytics - Associate within JPMorgan Chase's Risk Management and Compliance team, you will be instrumental in maintaining our company's strength and resilience. You will anticipate new and emerging risks, use your expert judgement to solve real-world challenges, and generate analytics that support a risk point-of-view. Your recommendations will help mitigate risks and solve business issues, directly impacting our bottom line.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analyst in Mortgage Core (Performing) Servicing Strategic Analytics including a focus on adjustable rate mortgage (ARM) analysis. This individual contributor role requires a strong analytical background and hands-on experience in SAS and/or SQL programming (ORACLE, Teradata). The successful candidate will be responsible for generating analytics that support a risk point-of-view, making data-driven recommendations to mitigate risks, and solving business issues that have a direct impact on the bottom line of the business. The role involves collaboration with partners both in India and the US.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic analytics related to mortgage core servicing, with a focus on adjustable rate mortgages (ARMs).

  • Utilize SAS and/or SQL programming (ORACLE, Teradata) to analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights.

  • Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leaders to address business issues and areas of regulatory concern.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk management, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategies.

  • Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

  • Monitor and report on key risk metrics (KRMs) related to mortgage core servicing and ARMs.

  • Develop deep understanding of the impacts of business processes and macro environment on risk metrics.

  • Identify and implement process improvements

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in SAS and/or SQL programming (ORACLE, Teradata) is required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of generating actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience working with partners in different geographical locations, particularly in India and the US, is a plus.

  • Experience in mortgage, performing mortgage servicing, or risk analytics is highly desirable.
