Our fast-paced Radiology department is looking for top skilled Radiographer. Is that you?

Work location: Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery, 6020 W Parker Road, Plano Texas 75093

Work hours: Full Time, 40 Hours; 4 days a week/Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm; Call Required

Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery is an 18-bed physician-owned hospital serving the people of Collin, Dallas, and Denton counties. Here’s What You Need:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology upon hire required or

  • Associate's Degree preferred

  • 1 Year radiologic technologist experience preferred

  • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required and

  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists 6 Months required and

  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

What You Will Do:

· Explain procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to exam

· Position patient to correct anatomical area of interest

· Perform complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations

· Adjust technique parameters appropriately for age related factors

· Assist radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique

· Maintain attention to details

· Process and manipulate images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, make technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed

· Utilize proper downtime procedures for PACS and HIS / RIS

· Correctly send and transfer images to PACS

· Print laser images from modality or PACS

· Coordinate with Centralized Scheduling and other modalities
