JPMorgan Chase Program Manager - Market Planning and New Build Support in Plano, Texas

Join us at the forefront of the Consumer Bank's top priorities to expand our branch footprint, which will include Market Expansion, New Builds, and growth strategy plans for all our markets across the country.

As a Program Manager in Market Planning and New Build Support, you will primarily focus on combining core program oversight, strategy, analytical problem solving, and Field execution to shape the strategic direction of the new Market Planning and New Build Support organization. This role will offer meaningful exposure to Consumer Bank leadership, key functional partners across the Consumer Bank (e.g., Data & Analytics, Real Estate, Finance, Marketing, HR, Product), and Field Sales leadership. Key areas of focus include, but are not limited to:

  • Market Growth Strategies: Conduct cross-functional ideation and experimentation processes to identify the most effective and efficient ways to drive transformative growth at a market level, including macroeconomic research and comprehensive internal One Chase analyses to identify strengths and opportunities, deliver tailored market recommendations, and drive accountability in the field and among functional partners

  • One Chase Growth Analytics: Conducting deep dive analyses on a wide array of success measures (e.g., market share, growth, efficiency metrics) across the industry and national footprint to monitor progress and identify opportunity at a local level to inform Market plans

  • Thought Leadership: Drive core strategic activities on behalf of the MPNBS, e.g., defining broad strategic initiatives direction, key success measures, and implications for Field Leadership at a local level

Job Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End program oversight of all market plans, targeted initiatives and special projects providing comprehensive tactic tracking, senior reporting and risk identification

  • Partner with One Chase and functional partners leading other key branch expansion programming and market growth workstreams to identify the most effective ways to drive transformative growth and ensure strategic priorities are aligned

  • Develop qualitative and quantitative business analyses to deliver strategic insights to Consumer executive meetings, working collaboratively with Data & Analytics, Finance, Field Leadership and team members across functions

  • Combine competitive insights and deep-dive analytics using both internal and external data to uncover opportunities to expand our network and acquire and deepen client relationships

  • Conduct Field research to identify new build best practices and incorporate the voice of the Field in key deliverables

  • Partner with Finance teams and Field Management (Divisional Directors, Regional Directors and Market Directors) to ensure market growth plans are comprehensive and aligned with strategic objectives, while sharing best practices and lessons learned across markets

  • Ensure the Field organization is equipped with the right insights, resources, and tools to successfully execute our branch expansion strategy across all Retail Markets and Branches

  • Own execution and Field implementation of Network Expansion initiatives to drive Field accountability and maintain growth momentum

  • Collaborate with cross-Functional teams (e.g., Data & Analytics, Marketing, Real Estate, Product) to analyze available data and quantify progress towards growth goals

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 8-10 years of program/project experience with background in analytical / strategic role - e.g., management consulting, strategy or finance

  • Proven program and project management experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment leading multiple work streams end-to-end

  • Ability to translate ideas or issues into concrete actions/deliverables

  • Exceptional communication skills, comfort presenting recommendations to senior management and capable of influencing multiple stakeholders

  • Decisive in the face of ambiguity, and experience anticipating and proactively addressing senior Management concerns, building consensus and enabling decision making

  • Excellent relationship management skills and ability to drive change across a large, complex organization

  • Intellectually curious, customer-obsessed, team-oriented, and high energy level with passion for driving quantifiable business results

  • Ability to distill actionable insight from deep quantitative and qualitative analyses and synthesize into practical, implementable strategies and tactics

  • Strong quantitative, critical thinking and analytic skills and capacity to quickly learn and develop new strategic frameworks

  • Willingness to travel and spend time "on the ground" to understand how conceptual strategy translates into realizable results

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • PMP Certification and BS/BA in analytical field or project management (e.g., business management, finance, economics, engineering).

  • Master's Degree or MBA highly preferred.

  • Financial services experience with experience in retail banking and/or wealth management preferred
