Position: Production Assembly Lead

Department: Production-Bus

Job Status: Full-time

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Reports To: Production Supervisor

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, some Saturdays required

Travel: Less than 5%

What You'll Do: As our Production Assembly Lead, you'll play a crucial role in bringing our bus products to life. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Charge: Coordinate and oversee the production process, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to schedules.

  • Collaboration is Key: Work closely with Quality Assurance to maintain top-tier standards and resolve any production issues.

  • Mentor and Train: Assist your team with training, mentoring, and understanding new technologies.

  • Hands-On Work: Assemble electronic systems using rivets, bolts, soldering, and micro-welding tools.

  • Problem Solver Extraordinaire: Adjust, repair, and replace electrical components to ensure optimal performance.

  • Blueprint Master: Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and work orders to ensure accurate assembly.

  • Quality Assurance: Perform functional tests to guarantee compliance with specifications.

  • Innovate and Improve: Offer insights to enhance processes and efficiency.

    What We’re Looking For: We need a motivated and detail-oriented leader with:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing with a solid understanding of production processes and quality control.

  • Technical Know-How: Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic components, assembly techniques, and mechanical tools.

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to train, mentor, and inspire a team to meet production goals.

  • Problem-Solving Ability: Expertise in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.

  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation with precision.

    Physical Requirements:
