Job Description:
This Enterprise Business Development Officer (EBDO) is responsible for identifying and developing new client relationships in their respective territories through direct calling and networking efforts. This team originates credit lending, cash management, deposits, and other bank solutions for franchise businesses (non-restaurant) and other similar business types. The EBDO creates relationships with franchise brands/ other businesses with similar models to understand client needs. Specialized lending programs are created and offered to businesses within the franchise concept.
Key responsibilities include individualistic research and contact new prospects to successfully solicit new business opportunities and supplement direct calling on prospects by developing referrals from business intermediaries (e.g. consultants, attorneys, investment bankers, accountants, business brokers). Job expectations include designing and implementing appropriate sales strategies/programs to achieve assigned production goals.

Prospects new clients and centers of influences
Builds relationships with new and existing clients, centers of influence, and associates
Devises sales strategies for territory management and market analysis
Communicates, negotiates and leads development
Provides complex credit solutions
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of sales experience with strong working knowledge of credit and lending issues.
Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentations
Self-motivated and result oriented
Desired Qualifications:
Strong desire to create business working with referral sources.
Undergraduate degree in business, finance or economics
Formal credit/lending training/strong credit skills
Proven business acumen by working with lending products and Small Businesses to provide solutions and services to fit their financial needs
Demonstrated sales ability; influences with impact; ability to develop new client relationships and new business
