JPMorgan Chase Compliance - Technology Operational Risk Management Lead - Vice President in Plano, Texas

As a Technology Operational Risk Management Lead, you will focus on building a modernized Global Financial Crimes Compliance Platform designed to drive more and faster innovation to meet regulatory changing needs now and into the future. As a part of this effort, you will partner closely with Risk Management, Global Financial Crimes Compliance teams, and Operations and Technology.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the Area Product Group for Relational Intelligence Platform accountable for the overall delivery.

  • Envision requirements, partnering closely with Business owners and engineering teams from solutioning through implementation for the new features/capabilities.

  • Maintain a strong focus on \"building the right thing in the right way\" to enable high quality solutions that meet compliance needs.

  • Collaborate across different risk teams in CCOR to build and deliver new platform features as a Functional and Technical SME on platform capabilities.

  • Create roadmap and prioritize backlog for the area product group.

  • Recommend business priorities and advise partners on options and risks of various solutions.

  • Represent Stakeholders and be available to scrum teams to answer/clarify requirement and able to make decisions.

  • Inspect sprint outcomes and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 10+ years' experience working in Financial Crimes Compliance, business strategy, analytics

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.).

  • Proficiency in Agile methodology

  • Knowledge of JIRA to do product planning and write epics

  • Ability to skillfully negotiate and define new functionality to build a reusable platform

  • Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to work well in cross-functional teams and ability to partner across various disciplines and levels of technical knowledge

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership

  • Experience working with and presenting to senior executives

  • Exposure and expertise with Quantexa Entity Resolution Module

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts

  • AWS certification is a plus

  • Expert in Leading Technical Delivery teams and

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills

  • Domain knowledge in Financial Crimes Compliance
