JPMorgan Chase Area Product Owner in Plano, Texas

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Manage scope, timeline, and prioritization of information technology (IT) projects and backlog, specifically projects related to Advanced Analytics Cloud solutions product development. Contribute as domain Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the architecture and technical design of cloud solutions that meet product goals and objectives. Work closely with business stakeholders and product technology domain leads to define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for cloud solutions projects. Define and prioritize the product backlog, and maintain product capability roadmaps and feature definitions. Work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (including customer relationship managers, data scientists, application owners, and other internal groups) to define epics and user stories with sufficient detail and acceptance criteria to ensure successful delivery of product capabilities, features, and business outcomes. Ensure end-to-end delivery of product roadmap and priorities with collaboration across feature teams. Identify and communicate cross-team dependencies and risks. Define the operational state of product features and validation criteria (Key Performance Indicators or KPIs) to ensure successful delivery and achievement of business outcomes. Work closely with central communications and between several product teams to understand products and then lead development, ideation, socialization and activation of effective, persona-driven marketing campaigns that maximize adoption of product. Build strong, lasting partnerships with internal stakeholders across Global Technology lines of business seeking out opportunities for collaboration to support the advancement of our Data & Analytics Strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 8 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager - Data & Analytics, Vice President of Analytics & Solutions, Business Intelligence (BI) Architect/Consultant, Program Manager/Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires eight (8) years of experience with the following skills: using data analysis tools including Tableau, Power BI, and Google Analytics to analyze data trends and patterns; statistical concepts and methods for hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and data modeling; machine learning algorithms and their applications for predictive analytics and data-driven decision-making; using data visualization tools to communicate insights; using SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval; and Data Integration and ETL (Extract, Transform and Load). Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: using Big Data technology including Hadoop and Apache Spark for processing and analyzing large datasets (datasets greater than 0.5 TB); using cloud architecture and cloud computing platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud to perform data analytics services; using programming languages including Python and R for data analysis and scripting; contributing to open source, micro services, cloud, and API development; project management throughout the entire product development lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery; using Agile software development methodologies to drive iterative product development and continuous improvements; and working with cross-functional teams to liaise between business, operations, and technology stakeholders.

Job Location: 8181 Communications Parkway, Plano, Texas 75024. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
