We are offering a long-term (Roughly 2-3 months) contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant to join our team located in Plano, Texas. The primary functions of this role revolve around administrative accounting duties within our industry. This role requires an individual who is adept at handling large volumes of data and is familiar with various accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Handle administrative accounting duties including journal entries and data entry tasks

• Process large data sets, typically around 5000 lines, and ensure their accurate loading into the system

• Assist with the preparation of end-of-year budget data

• Ensure all accounting functions are performed accurately and efficiently

• Support in other duties as they arise, ensuring smooth functioning of the accounting department.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary.

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions is essential.

• Skills in Auditing are advantageous.
