Genmab Associate Director, Field Operations in Plainsboro, New Jersey

The Role The position will be responsible for managing functions essential to field force productivity and effectiveness. This individual will manage key areas such as incentive compensation, field force sizing & deployment, targeting & alignment, reporting, process optimization, data analysis and ongoing operations. The Associate Director of Field Operations works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the field organization. The candidate will be responsible for providing strategic insight to both the field force and the leadership team specific to the business KPI's. The Associate Director of Field Operations will report directly to the Director of Field Operations.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will have broad operational and analytics responsibilities, including design and deployment of field teams, customer & account targeting, field dashboarding and execution analysis.

Coordinates with other functions and stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Business Insights & Analytics, Business Information Services, HR, and finance.

Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's planning efforts.

Lead sales incentive compensation design, processing, and execution, including annual awards trip planning.

Manage IC operations: goal allocation, adjustments, validation, payout processes, and reporting.

Develop and manage rewards and recognition programs, including annual awards and contests.

Own creation & implementation of field target lists by partnering closely with BIA & Data Science.

Manage quality assurance in the tracking & implementation of field force targets and affiliations within the applicable systems.

Oversee alignments for all field teams by collaborating with Field Leadership and Business Information Services.

Collaborate cross functionally on field sizing initiatives.

Collaborate with Business Insights & Analytics, Field Leadership & Marketing on performance reporting of sales force effectiveness.

Partner with sales management to define and produce or enhance reporting to measure sales force productivity and ensure effective implementation of established strategies and tactics.

Handle sales data inquiries, ensuring accurate reporting and CRM data management.

Implements enabling technologies, such as field dashboards, and ensures accurate collection, analysis, formatting, management, and dissemination of sales data.

Monitors the organization's compliance with required standards for maintaining SFA/CRM data.

Works closely with sales management to optimize the effectiveness of strategy, tools and tactics.

Requirements:

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required; advanced degree is preferred.

Must have 7 years of work experience in field operations, marketing analytics, strategic consulting or other analytical work in the pharmaceutical, biotech or related industries.

Detailed understanding of sales processes, sales data tracking, sales force automation, incentive compensation operations, promotion response concepts, and sales force alignments.

Proficient in all aspects of analyzing healthcare sales data and field force activities.

Proficient in field team platforms, i.e. Sales Force.com, Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau

The exceptional ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities and significant time pressures is required.

Requires in-depth and current knowledge of pharmaceutical sales and marketing strategies including building sales incentive plans.

Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) required along with strong project/process management skills.

The ability to develop and maintain strong team relationships, including external partners, while driving for positive results is required.

Previous experience in oncology is preferred.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$153,750.00---$256,250.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
