Senior Maintenance Technician (Oversee and assist in maintenance of building, equipment, and machinery)

Location: Romeoville, IL Salary: $32 - $40 per hour based on experience Shift: First shift Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 6 years' experience in manufacturing with high-speed production equipment.

• Knowledge of building maintenance equipment.

• Experience in machine shop, welding, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting.

• Good computer literacy.

• strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to handle pressure positively and promote a professional image.

• Must have and maintain a current driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist with repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.

• Support and execute the preventive maintenance schedule using MPulse.

• Complete inspection and equipment inventory logs.

• Assist in implementing OSHA programs including lockout/tagout and forklift certification.

• Provide and oversee emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance.

• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.

• Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment.

• Perform Mig/Tig & Arc welding as needed.

• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.

• Work with up to 440 voltage.

• Assist in planning and implementing department goals.

• Oversee and train maintenance team and warehouse personnel.

• Ensure timely completion of projects and resolve issues promptly.

• Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
