Receiving Associate | 2nd Shift

A quickly growing manufacturing & distribution company in the Plainfield area is seeking a dedicated and efficient Receiving Associate for the shipping department.

This role involves a combination of forklift operations, manual picking, and data verification tasks. You will be responsible for full pallet picking/gaylords using a forklift, individual case picking as needed, labeling pallets with the correct purchase order ticket, shrink wrapping pallets manually, and collecting appropriate paperwork from freight carriers. Additionally, you will be using Excel and Word to update the Clerk on received items.

This is a second shift role from 2pm-10:30pm, with available overtime on Saturdays. Initial training will be provided on the first shift for 1-2 weeks.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Plainfield, Illinois.

Expected to move site to Montgomery, IL at the end of the year.

2nd Shift 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

$19 per hour

Work Environment

The facility is large, however, the you will be working in a team of 5-10 people. It's a highly team-oriented environment where we need individuals willing to take on various tasks depending on the need. Be prepared for a fast-paced, loud, and at times, dirty environment depending on the area of the facility you are working in. The job requires steel-toed boots and may involve lifting up to 55 lbs. The offered pay range is $21-$25/hr based on experience.
