Honeywell Professional Services Engineer in Pittsford, New York

As a Professional Services Engineer here at Honeywell Building Automation (BA), you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and support to our customers. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality professional services, including system design, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Your strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge will ensure the successful implementation and operation of our building automation solutions.

LenelS2’s Professional Engineering Services Team is a group of skilled system engineers that assist in the deployment, upgrade, and migration of LenelS2 access control systems critical to the security operations of customers including Fortune 100 firms, financial institutions, universities, and government facilities

You will report directly to our Manager Custom Solutions and Professional Services and you'll work out of our Pittsford, NY location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the satisfaction of our customers and the success of our professional services operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Support the LenelS2 Value Added Reseller (VAR) Channel

-Provide manufacturer technical product guidance in the following areas:

-System design and pre-planning

-Software installation and upgrades

-Implementation of fault tolerant and disaster recovery solutions

-Complex installations and configuration

-Provide project planning, testing and deployment services for the LenelS2 product family

The annual base salary range for this position is $85,600 -$107,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE

-2+ years of customer facing experience in a technology industry

-2+ years of experience with MS SQL Server or Oracle databases

-2+ years of Server administration experience

-Experience working with Microsoft operating systems (Windows OS).

-Entry-level knowledge of SQL database engines required

-Experience in Access Control, Video, Intrusion, or related technologies is a plus

This position requires availability to travel; typically, individual trips of short duration (3-5 days).  International travel is possible.
