Honeywell OnGuard Senior System Advisor in Pittsford, New York

Sr System Advisor - OnGuard Security System

Location: Pittsford, NY

Hybrid after first 90 days

You must have previous experience with OnGuard Security System for this position. No applications will be considered without previous experience/knowledge of the system.

As a Senior System Advisor here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing expert guidance and support in system design and implementation. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions that meet their requirements. With your extensive knowledge and experience in system architecture, you will contribute to the success of our projects and drive customer satisfaction.

You will report directly to our Manager-LenelS2 Managed Services, and you’ll work out of our Pittsford, NY location on a hybrid 3:2 work schedule. Other locations in the continental United States may be considered.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance for our clients.

The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expert guidance and facilitate for building automation security systems

  • Advise customers on system design, implementation , and optimization and advanced system configuration to assist our OnGuard customers

  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans to include internal teams such as Technical Support, Engineering, Sales and Product Management

  • Ensure all customer requirements are met acting as primary point of contact and voice of customer

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and efficiency on maintenance, design and troubleshooting

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in building automation systems or related roles

  • Strong technical expertise in building automation systems

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Effective communication and people-oriented skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field

  • Experience with Honeywell building automation systems

  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations

  • Strong project management skills

  • Experience developing test plans and procedures

  • Cloud based server and SQL infrastructure (Azure and AWS)

  • SQL / Oracle knowledge or certifications
