Growing company in the financial services industry is seeking a Treasury Management Associate to assist in their asset management department. The Treasury Management Associate will be responsible for assisting with customer reports and associated accounting documentation. Daily tasks may include researching and resolving issues pertaining to financial transactions. You will be responding to information requests by clients, bank contacts, management and for audit purposes. You will serve as a point of contact for Third Party Administrators, Financial Advisors and banking staff. Issues can arise if the proper documentation or approvals are missing, if deposits are not processed correctly, or transactions have not been properly coded. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for posting customer transactions, verifying amounts and coding and follow strict policies & procedures. You will report to the Treasury Management Manager.
Daily tasks may include:
Enter, verify, and/or post customer transactions by reviewing appropriate documentation
Verify the accuracy of cashiering input and output to insure correct coding.
Answer phone calls from clients, bank contacts, and participants as needed
Monitor messages online, client emails, and respond to issues in a timely manner
Learn and understand regulatory and compliance issues related to customer cashiering and tax reporting
Perform asset transfers and share updates across the department
Reconciles banking transactions with customer transaction records daily
Provides Treasury Management Manager with assistance when gathering necessary customer transactional information and other documents for audits.
Assists Treasury Management Manager with preparing, mailing, and filing required tax forms with federal and state government agencies.
Requirements include:
Bachelor's Degree is required. Preferred Degrees are Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business however other relevant degrees will be considered
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be extremely organized and possess a strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and team-mentality is essential!
The position will require tight deadlines so individuals must be able to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving skills are required!
The hours for this Entry Level Treasury Management Associate position will be Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm. All training will be conducted ONSITE at their office in the Strip District. After the training process, there is a possibility for the Treasury Management Associate to work a hybrid schedule, but only after training has concluded.
