Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
The Crisis Intervention Residential Adult/Walk-In Center Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality crisis intervention services, and supporting a team of mental health professionals. This role involves staff supervision, administrative oversight, and direct client care when needed. The supervisor ensures compliance with policies, facilitates team coordination, and promotes a safe, client-centered environment for individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crises.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Supervision & Leadership:
Provide direct supervision, training, and support to crisis intervention staff
Assist in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of team members.
Foster a supportive and trauma-informed work environment that encourages staff well-being and professional growth.
Crisis Intervention & Client Care:
Oversee and ensure effective assessment, stabilization, and referral of individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.
Provide direct crisis intervention and de-escalation support when needed.
Collaborate with law enforcement, hospitals, and community partners to coordinate care for clients.
Operations & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and agency policies.
Monitor documentation and service delivery to maintain quality and compliance.
Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and workflow management to ensure 24/7 service availability.
Program Development & Community Engagement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and program enhancements.
Represent the center in community outreach and stakeholder meetings.
Assist in developing policies, procedures, and crisis response protocols.
MINIMUM QUALILFICATIONS
Master’s Degree in Human Services (social work, psychology, rehabilitation, activity therapist, counseling, education)
3 years of related behavioral health experience including 1 years as a supervisor or team lead
Pre-employment drug screen/physical/TB
Valid driver license
Ability to drive organization vehicle
Access to transportation
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in fast paced environment.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS AND BENEFITS:
WORK SCHEDULE: This is a Exempt (salary) position.
Primarily Monday-Friday daylight with flexibility to meet consumer needs. Some non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends and holidays) are required. Will provide rotating on all support.
