Substitute Cafeteria Workers Needed for the Fox Chapel Area School District and the 2024-2025 School Year

Candidates should be flexible enough to work at any of the schools in the district. These are day-to-day substitute positions. If the candidates are already working, these positions are often flexible enough to supplement the candidates' schedules. This school district has hired several people who started as substitutes.(If offered a district position, you are not obligated to accept it-- you can choose to continue working as a substitute, if you wish.) Cafeteria hours usually fall between the hours of 9:30am - 2pm. It is preferred the qualified candidates have reliable transportation as most schools in the district are not easily accesible by bus. 

Pay Rate: $13 per hour

     Clearances required within the last year:

• PA Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse Clearance
• FBI fingerprints through the Dept. of Education
• Act 126 Clearance (online Mandated Reporter training) 
• Arrest/Conviction Record form (Act 24) and Act 168 clearance (Precision will provide these forms for the candidates to complete)
• Pre-employment physical and TB test required (neither should be more than 1 year old)

Additional Requirements: 

• Must have at least a HS diploma or GED
• While it is preferred candidates have some experience in food service and/or customer service, it's not required. Some training will be provided.
