Senior Epic Systems Analyst

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking applicants to join our pool of available professionals with experience as Senior Epic Systems Analysts.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Key Responsibilities

System Configuration and Optimization

  • Lead the design, build, and maintenance of Epic modules

  • Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions

  • Conduct system analysis to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains

Project Management

  • Manage complex Epic-related projects from inception to completion

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies

Workflow Analysis and Process Improvement

  • Analyze current workflows and recommend process improvements

  • Implement best practices in Epic utilization across various departments

  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and compliance

Training and Support

  • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on Epic functionalities

  • Provide advanced technical support for complex Epic-related issues

  • Create comprehensive documentation for system processes and workflows

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, or related field

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Epic EHR systems

  • Epic certification in at least one module required, multiple certifications preferred

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Epic system architecture and integration

  • Strong understanding of healthcare IT standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH)

  • Experience with SQL, report writing, and data analysis

  • Familiarity with other healthcare IT systems and their integration with Epic

Soft Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

  • Strong leadership and project management skills

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with Epic system changes

Pay Details: $40.97 to $62.47 per hour
