Job Summary:

The Sr. Analyst, Business Systems has extensive experience in analyzing and improving business systems. They take the lead on major projects, mentor junior analysts, and provide strategic insights to optimize business processes. This role involves complex problem-solving, advanced technical skills, and the ability to influence decision-making. Senior analysts are expected to have a deep understanding of the business’s strategic goals and how technology can be leveraged to achieve them.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget

• Develop project plans and timelines

• Monitor and track project progress

• Communicate project updates to stakeholders

Business Process Analysis

• Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement

• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements

• Develop and document new processes

• Create training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users

System Implementation

• Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement new systems

• Develop test plans and conduct system testing

• Coordinate user acceptance testing

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues

Data Analysis

• Gather and analyze data to identify trends and patterns

• Create reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders

• Make recommendations based on data analysis to improve business processes

Change Management

• Develop change management strategies to ensure smooth implementation of new systems or processes

• Communicate changes and updates to stakeholders

• Provide training and support to end users

• Monitor and measure the success of change management initiatives

Vendor Management

• Evaluate and select vendors for software and systems

• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships

• Ensure vendors are meeting agreed-upon deliverables and service level agreements

• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology for potential vendor partnerships.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 4 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.

• In-depth knowledge of enterprise software applications and databases.

• Proficiency in system integration and understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management and development.

• Strong project management skills to oversee complex IT projects.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and improve system performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced certifications in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, or other relevant technologies

Salary range:

$81,000.00 - $146,000.00
