Software Engineer IV Job Summary

Executes the thoughtful design, development, and implementation of software programming applications; determines technical specifications and standards for complex projects; serves as lead for diverse projects; and manages departmental projects. Develops design specifications; analyzes and interprets system requirements; reviews and modifies systems; codes, tests, troubleshoots, and debugs software applications; and contributes to the research for and proposal of enhanced software applications. Resolves complex problems with expertise and leads lower-level staff.

Essential Functions * Lead and contribute to image analytics, large language model, and tabular data machine learning projects from inception to completion * Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning algorithms focused on image data, natural language processing, and tabular data * Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering for high-dimensional datasets, including image, text, and tabular data * Utilize statistical methods to analyze data and generate actionable insights * Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to translate complete algorithms into deployable software solutions Physical Effort

This position is primarily sedentary. However, some walking between department areas will be necessary.
