Research Program Coordinator

The Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases is recruiting a Research Program Coordinator to join the Parikh group. The incumbent will oversee protocol implementation of extended HIVDR monitoring studies in multiple countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. Oversee REDCap database, Maintain Materteral Transfer Agreements (MTAs) and Data Use Agreements (DUAs), and review and provide feedback on MOSAIC HIV/HIVDR tools and resources.

Job Summary

Executes protocol-related research procedures, activities, outreach, and education. Manages a complex program or study or multiple programs and studies. Collects and analyzes data and complies with all policies and regulations. Recommends improvements to policy and procedure.

Essential Functions

The Research Program Manager will have four main areas of focus: 1. Coordinate with country teams to implement extended HIVDR monitoring studies. 2. Data Management for HIVDR Monitoring and CATALYST. 3. Collaboration Management for Data/ Samples to be Received under above studies. 4. Review MOSAIC team-created resources.

Physical Effort

Duties are primarily sedentary. Must be able to use a computer at a desk or similar workstation, and travel to on-campus meetings as needed.
