Research Compliance Specialist III

 

The Department of Surgery's Trauma and Transfusion Medicine Research Center (TTMRC) is looking for a Research Compliance Specialist to provide site support for the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development (BARDA) study. The incumbent will utilize their medical and drug development experience to oversee the conduct and evaluation of this clinical trial. The Research Compliance Specialist will be highly engaged, collaborative and work cross-functionally with key stakeholders as required. Must be able to follow the University of Pittsburgh and HIPPA compliance policies.

 

Job Summary

Oversees regulatory liaison for all clinical sites, coordinating centers, and data management centers and performs grant approval reviews and assists with regulatory reviews. Completes investigator training sessions, assists with compliance investigations, maintains databases, and develops approval guidelines to ensure institutional compliance with all regulations, policies, and applicable regulations.

Essential Functions

  • Primary point of contact for research sites.
  • Maintains study database for monitoring and reporting purposes.
  • Assist with compliance investigations at research sites.
