RAYUS Radiology Radiology Support Specialist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

As a Radiologist Support Specialist I, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to healthcare facilities (clients), patients and all internal and external customers. Radiology Support Specialist (RSS) are responsible for receiving, reviewing and verifying information, resolving problems, fulfilling requests, and performing database queries to optimize radiologist workflow to meet expected turnaround times (TAT's) and client service level agreements/expectations (SLA's). This is a fully remote full-time position, four weekdays per week with rotating weekend, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Deliver client satisfaction through effective resolution of client calls Efficient drafting of X-Rays and verification of cross sectional exams Efficient remediation of studies on the RSS exceptions work list Field requests from Radiologists to effectively resolve the issues through client contact or integration of the IT support team Effective execution of critical finding and super-stat requests Focus on assigned duties in a high volume client service center Utilize multiple information systems to verify the availability of diagnostic information Troubleshoot workflow gaps with diagnostic information, patient orders, and physician resources Owns issues through verified resolution Establish effective working rapport with clinical team including physicians Build effective relationships and work environment with teammates Generate process improvement ideas and take action on ideas In performance of all duties, acts in accordance with the company's mission, vision and values Adheres to the company's code of conduct Other duties as assigned

Required High school diploma or GED required A minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role Preferred: An associate or bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration or another related field preferred Previous experience in Radiology and/or a high-volume call center preferred RAYUS is committed to delivering clinical excellence in communities across the U.S., driven by our passion for and superior service to referring providers and patients.
