About Us: The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is thrilled to announce a unique opportunity for a Project Manager to join our dynamic team. We have successfully secured funding for an exciting community-assisting project and are seeking a talented individual to take the lead in managing its execution. The award is intended to hire and train three patient navigators with developmental disabilities assist five persons each with developmental disabilities as well. Over the course of twelve months, the project manager will be involved in all phases of the project: 1. Team Management: Coordinate and manage project team members, ensuring clear communication and collaboration. 2. Calendar Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive project calendar, scheduling milestones, meetings, and deadlines. 3. Project Oversight: Monitor the projects progress, identifying and addressing any potential issues to keep it on schedule and within scope. 4. Communication: Facilitate effective communication between team members, stakeholders, Pitt institutions, and project sponsors. 5. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including reports, progress summaries, and relevant records. 6. Patient Organization: Coordinate appointments between other team members (navigators) and patients with developmental disabilities. 7. Other duties as assigned. This will take an average of ten hours per week for the remainder of calendar year 2024.

Experience in project management, ideally in academic settings. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Bachelors degree preferred, specifically a BSN, along with any experience in nursing.
