General Summary: Assists in the development and administration of non-credit continuing educational courses and/or programs in a manner which meets goals, the expectations of internal and external customers, and quality standards. Emphasis is on independently coordinating the content and delivery related details for the production and quality monitoring of non-credit programming both existing and new programs.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with two (2) years of coordinating education/training courses or equivalent experience. Experience with crisis and problem resolution with a large degree of self-sufficiency and accountability. A high level of proficiency in the entire MS Office Suite, strong written and verbal communication skills.

Duties: 1. Assist director with developmental tasks and continuous quality improvement in planning, developing, implementing, staffing and coordinating non-credit program schedules to meet the educational needs of the community through a team approach to educational programming.2. Coordinate all instructor-related course delivery details maintaining effective communication and supervision while providing guidance and support to the program's instructional staff.3. Manage logistical aspects of assigned programs in an independent and effective manner by supervising all site operations including the dissemination of information to students and instructors concerning programs, schedules, registration, room assignments and specific building regulations.4. Meet financial objectives as determined in annual performance reviews and manage budgets to accomplish these objectives.5. Maintain a high attention to detail and processes, as well as work with a strong sense of urgency on a day to day basis in opening/closing classes and delivering materials. 6. Create, manage, proof, semester course catalog.7. Handle customer inquiries.8. Recruit and screen potential program instructors.9. Keep accurate records and statistical data on all programs.10. Develop a marketing plan and update mailing lists for promoting programs.11. Maintain contacts with community organizations to meet the needs of constituents.12. Act as a liaison between internal and external partners to develop and maintain ongoing communications with existing collaborations.13. Communicate programs to the public through printed materials, the media, and participation in related community activities.14. Gather and evaluate data market research on community education programs in the region.15. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
