Post Doctoral Associate-Kumta Lab Bioengineering - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - 24007753

The Department of Bioengineering is seeking a Post Doctoral Associate in the Kumta Lab. The incumbent will be required to have strong expertise in electrochemically active materials synthesis and characterization of electrocatalysts in half-cell and full-cell modes. The incumbent will be expected to have proven experience and strong expertise in electrochemistry, fuel cell and water electrolysis electrocatalyst materials synthesis, materials, and electrochemical characterization, electrode fabrication and testing, as well as electrocatalysts and electrocatalysis for proton exchange membrane PEM based electrochemical water splitting and proton exchange membrane PEM based hydrogen fuel cells fabrication, membrane electrode assembly generation and testing.

The incumbent will be required to possess a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Chemistry, or Electrochemistry discipline.
