Post Doctoral Associate-Cui Lab Bioengineering - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - 24007754

The Department of Bioengineering is seeking a Post Doctoral Associate in the Dr. Xinyan Cui lab. Incumbent will be responsible for conducting a research project funded by NIH. The main responsibilities include project management, coordinating with collaborators, conducting neural device fabrication for in vitro organ on chip or in vivo implantation, electrophysiology and electrochemical experiments in vitro and in vivo, molecular and histological tissue analysis, analyzing data using quantitative and statistical methods, writing progress reports and manuscripts. The incumbent will also be expected to help train graduate students and write grant proposals and complete other assignments that the principal investigator may request.

Incumbent must have a PhD in Bioengineering/biomedical engineering, or other STEM related field.
