Job Description The Plant President provides leadership in the development and execution of plans and strategies for continually improving people, process, technology,profitsand culture.The Plant President is primarily responsible for developing and executing plans to improve local and corporate strategies that drive top and bottom line results, meeting all budget commitments, and continuous improvement initiatives. The President drives the culture of employee engagement & development, coaching, maximizing equipment utilization and performance, driving safety awareness throughout the facility, and partnering with other commercial print facilities, platforms & corporate to drive best practices. Responsibilities: Lead the plant to continually improve employee engagement that will drive safety, quality, productivity and reduction of waste on a consistent and continual basis in each and every process. P&L responsibility for assigned locations, including the preparation and successful management of capital and operational budgets. Work to improve the performance of employees through consistent and continual leadership, coachingand training programs. Establish and maintain a viable succession plan for all critical human resources. Provide guidance and direction to department managers regarding the continual improvement of operations for which they have ownership.Ensure department leaders understand and utilize dashboard information to help improve the operation and drive employee engagement. Support the local plant and National Sales teams in both strategy and execution of their Business Plans. Work with company Sales Representatives from all channels to maintain and acquire new customers for the organization. Review and report on manufacturing activities, performances and results. Initiate team action to identify and remove problems with schedules, excessive costs, materials or other factors affecting quality, safety, service or productivity levels inconsistent with plant continual improvement efforts. Maintain open communication with plant employees and Corporate Staff to improve safety, quality, productivity and morale. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations issued by OSHA, EPA, EEO, and other federal, state and local regulatory agencies. Provide reports and feedback of plant performance to Leadershipas required. Make recommendations regarding hires, terminations, cost out activities, promotions, transfers, training and merit increases of Plant Personnel. Motivate staff in support of department objectives and timely and effective schedules to ensure production goals. Demonstrate commitment to continual process improvement efforts in order to assure that all customer expectations (internal and external) are exceeded. Perform other related duties and business related as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Graphic Arts or related field, or equivalent experience 8+ years of diversified management experience within the printing industry or similar manufacturing industry, with proven success in leading operations teams Experience supporting sales teams and driving solutions that exceed customer expectations Continuous Improvement/Lean skills/experience highly preferred Ability to lead a diverse team of both sales and operations group Excellent comm nication skills to communicate with internal and external teams Ability to lead and influence change, and drive employee engagement Ability to lead through empathy and inclusion Strong attention to detail Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong abilityto apply continuous improvement throughout the plant Additional Information Thenational pay range for this role is $129,000 to $265,100 / year. The payrange may beslightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package.
