Description

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring all employees are paid accurately and timely. This includes processing payroll (high volume) and maintaining payroll records, resolving payroll discrepancies, and providing payroll information to employees and management.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze information to accurately prepare and process the company’s payroll.

• Maintain and update payroll records

• Coordinate and ensure the compliance of all payroll tax activities, including compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and filing local, state, and federal payroll tax returns.

• Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and comply with company policies.

• Resolve payroll discrepancies through information collection and analysis.

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.

• Prepare reports for upper management, finance department, and auditors.

• Establish and maintain payroll policies and procedures.

• Partner with the Human Resources department to ensure accurate employee benefits administration.

  Requirements

2+ years proven experience as a payroll administrator or similar role in the HR or accounting department.

Proficiency with payroll software, HRIS systems, and data analysis tools.

Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Highly analytical with a strong attention to details.
