Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Network Architect to help a small local client. Network architects must possess a deep understanding of current and future networking technologies and protocols, as well as the ability to design and plan the implementation of secure, resilient, and efficient network solutions. This candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of a network addressing scheme that ideally identifies the CoP building, floor and function of each device. Design the network to physically and logically segregate Public Safety (PS) CCTV traffic and Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) traffic light management. Develop plan for implementing that scheme, to include elimination of existing patchwork of address solutions including NATting and VLANs. Migrate 10-15 facilities from existing IP addresses to new scheme.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

 Minimum 5 years of experience in networking infrastructure

 Project management experience

 Minimum 5 years experience with LAN/WAN, VLAN and NATing

 Project experience migrating multiple facilities from existing IP addresses to new scheme

 Previous mentor, lead, manger, supervisor ect. null
