Laboratory Research Technician II Job Summary

Performs a variety of laboratory experiments and procedures. Prepares specimens. Oversees supply management. Operates and properly maintains equipment.

Essential Functions * Mouse husbandry and genotyping * Immunostaining * Plasmid DNA preparation * Basic lab bench work including solution and reagent preparation * Sterilization of equipment * Maintain inventory and assist with ordering Physical Effort

This position is basically sedentary. However, there will be some lifting of boxes and walking between collaborating labs
