Salary Range for this position is $59,000 - $90,000. Salary Range is based on Experience and Education levels.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF Molecular Technologist,

A typical day for the Molecular Technologist includes multiplexed immunofluorescent labeling/staining and digital imaging, as well as quality control review of digital imaging and test analysis output. The technologist would work with equipment setups for staining and imaging, as well as prepare reagents, manage specimens, and assist with inventory and quality management tasks as needed. The three main activities include histological staining and imaging, specimen management and preparation, and quality control review checks and documentation associated with high-complexity clinical laboratory testing.

Tissue Cypher:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• B.S. in a scientific discipline
• Demonstrated technical proficiency, scientific creativity, successful collaboration with others, and independent thought.
• Preferred 2-4 years of laboratory experience in high-complexity testing.
• Previous experience with digital imaging or IF/IHC staining is welcomed, but not required.
• Demonstrated proficiency with micro-pipetting.

WORK SCHEDULE

• The role may require flexible shift starts to meet operational demands. However, during training, candidates are expected to adhere to the current technologists' schedule, which starts at 5:30 am.
