Salary Range for this position is $49,299- $69,892. Salary Range is based on Experience and Education levels.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF Lab, Laboratory Technician

A typical day for the laboratory technician includes sample processing, quality control checks, and overall laboratory support. The technician would be working with equipment setups for staining and imaging, as well as reagent preparations, specimen management, and assisting with inventory and quality management tasks. The laboratory technician will spend most of their time doing three main activities that include equipment setup, monitoring, and maintenance; inventory checks and stocking of consumables; slide specimen management such as archiving, tracking, and storing.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of an associate degree or nearing the completion of the enrolled program
• At least 6 months (1 year preferred) of laboratory experience with proficiency in laboratory organization and inventory management of samples, reagents & and materials.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

SCHEDULE

• The role may require flexible shift starts to meet operational demands. Current scheduling is set at 8:30am - 5pm.
