DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: POSITION SUMMARY: The HR Coordinator is responsible for specific Human Resources functions in the areas of Onboarding and to provide support for the Human Resources team. This position provides excellent customer service and ensures compliance with all external laws and regulations as well as internal guidelines and policies.
Duties include but are not limited to: * Implement tools to assist team members throughout the onboarding process. * Input employee data as needed and act as back up for other HR Coordinators * Ensure all required documentation is obtained and verified, including, but not limited to I9 documentation and clearances. * Maintain current knowledge of and fulfill all reporting requirements of all relevant government rules and regulations. * Answer questions and internal customer service and support by interpreting and explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations. * Be knowledgeable of and follow all applicable regulations, procedures and policies for Goodwill of SWPA as the employment sites, including but not limited to attendance, training requirements, and safety policies and procedures.
Status: Full-time Location: Lawrenceville Workforce Development Center - 118 52nd Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201 External Hiring Range: $17.33-18.02 Schedule: Monday through Friday, normal business hours. Travel: Occasional travel may is required, to Goodwill sites in Southwestern Pennsylvania and North Central West Virginia.
QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or equivalent AND 4 years of experience required. OR * Associates degree AND 2 years of experience required. OR * Bachelor's degree AND no experience required.
Required Education: must be in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Required Experience: must be related to working in the Human Resources, or Talent Acquisition field.
REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS: * Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprints, and PATCH) prior to first day of employment.
