POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is on the embedded software team to assist the engineers with testing, including wireless and firmware/hardware integration. This person will work in a lab environment with oscilloscopes, debuggers, code reviews, and sensors. ISC has many projects ongoing, and this person will focus on firmware – debugging, integration and testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES

• Project Biggie Smalls – testing modules and FW/HW integration testing

• Participate in Code Reviews on all projects

• AoS – assistance with choosing components and updating existing firmware to work with new parts

• Writing reports for the detailed analysis and testing

• Work with engineers to develop new modules and new functions for instruments

• Run experiments using new and/or existing hardware to demonstrate use cases

REQUIREMENTS

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering- graduating December 2025 or later.

• Good analytical skills for performing and evaluating tests

• Understanding of ‘C’ code – able to read/write code in C programming language

• Good communication skills – written reports and express ideas verbally

• Can complete tasks with guidance from an engineer
