DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seekingan EEO & Compliance Manager to join our Talent Acquisition (TA) Center of Excellence, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition. The EEO & Compliance Manager will provide expertise and leadership to our company HR policies, practices, procedures, and technologies, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations related to obligations under EEO and annual affirmative action plans (AAP), including the identification and implementation of any applicable DEI action plans.

This role may sit at Howmet's Corporate Headquarters located in Pittsburgh, PA or at one of Howmet's manufacturing facilities throughout the US.

Major Activities/Key Challenges: * Lead efforts to maintain Howmet's compliance with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), including preparation of annual affirmative action plans (AAP) * Partner with third-party AAP consultants and internal stakeholders to manage annual compliance and reporting obligations * Collaborate with internal team members to integrate compliance considerations into various business processes and decision-making * Analyze Howmet's HR compliance risk and recommend changes to policies, practices and procedures as appropriate to maintain compliance with applicable laws * Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement in DEI initiatives, ensuring adherence to legal guidance and regulatory frameworks * Create and lead HR process and policy development in collaboration with Talent Acquisition and HR * Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR, and the Legal department to identify new and changing federal, state, and local laws, regulations, enforcement activity, industry standards, and best practices to meet organizational objectives * Provide leadership to HR and key company stakeholders through training and support activities, to ensure any applicable DEI initiatives, EEO guidelines, records and policies/procedures are understood and implemented * Oversee records management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations for recordkeeping * Monitor and analyze data metrics, identifying trends and proposing strategies for continuous improvement

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Teams, etc) * Data-minded; using data analytics to measure and interpret regulatory requirements and implement effective compliance strategies * Skilled at translating abstract concepts into clear, simple terms coupled with effective advice * Knowledgeable of the latest recruitment best practices and technologies; practices continuous learning to deliver on projects and business initiatives * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information appropriately to a variety of audiences * Well-developed interpersonal skills; capable of building trusting relationships across all levels and influencing without direct authority * Open-mindedness and flexibility to anticipate and respond quickly to changing needs of the organization * Highly collaborative; capable of bringing teams together and building consensus * Highly organized; capable of managing multiple priorities and stakeholders in a decentralized recruitment environment

Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Risk Management or a related field * Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, compliance, or DEI-related roles * Demonstrated understanding of DEI laws, regulations, and industry standards * Willing and able to travel to company locations up to 25% of the time * Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualificati ns: * Advanced degree, or certification in DEI, compliance, or other relevant field * Proven experience in audit, regulatory, and/or compliance management * Direct experience with OFCCP requirements * Experience in talent acquisition and/or human resources in a global organization * Understanding of HR systems and technologies from a compliance perspective * Experienced in creating standard operating procedures and process documents * Experience in data collection, interpretation, and management, vital for successful completion of required regulatory filings and reporting * Experience developing and delivering training programs related to employment law, compliance, and/or DEI programs

Salary Range: $90k - $105k/year approximation (actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).
