Digital Communication Coordinator
The Center for Philosophy of Science promotes excellence in the field by fostering innovative research, scholarly exchange, and education through conferences, fellowships, and partnerships worldwide. It supports the dissemination of philosophy of science through publications like the PhilSci Archive and seeks to share its achievements with broader academic audiences. Additionally, the Center encourages interdisciplinary research, particularly in the history of science, to enrich the study and understanding of philosophy of science.
The Digital Communication Coordinator is responsible for designing and implementing digital communication strategies that effectively promote the organizations mission, values, and programs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
The successful candidate should possess the following:Moderate proficiency in computer systems and digital tools.Social media experience, including content creation, audience engagement, and analytics.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple media platforms effectively.Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is preferred but not required.

Job Summary
Performs administrative assistant support work of moderate complexity.
Essential Functions Manage the organizations social media accounts, ensuring regular updates with engaging and relevant content.Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to effectively promote the organizations initiatives and events.Create multimedia content, including videos, graphics, and photographs, for distribution across the organizations digital platforms.Monitor and analyze digital metrics, such as website traffic and social media engagement, to enhance communication strategies.Collaborate with staff to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all platforms.Oversee the organizations website, ensuring it remains up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with organizational goals.Respond to inquiries and comments on the organizations digital platforms promptly and professionally.Provides technical support for weekly talks and conferences.Provide support for other communication-related tasks as needed.
Physical Effort Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
